Job summary

CK Ingredient Sdn Bhd seeks an R&D Executive to drive new product development, conduct formulation work, and perform sensory evaluations in the R&D lab. You will handle batch production, documentation, and release specs while coordinating with production and QA for continuous improvement.

• Possesses at least 1 year’s working experience as a R&D Executive.

Responsibilities

• Assist and initiate new product development including production scale up tasks.
• Daily execution of R&D related lab activities.
• Carry out R&D projects such as formulation, sample preparation and sensory evaluation of food products.
• Manufacturing of batches in the R&D lab, process optimization for formulations, documentation generation, defining/creating release specifications and tracking stability.
• Troubleshooting formulas as well as continuous improvement of existing formulas and processes.
• Carry out pilot plant trials in production and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve problems.
• Maintain R&D raw material inventory including logging and removing expired materials.
• Ensure safe and hygienic conditions, equipment are maintained in R&D Lab.
• To keep a record of all R&D related documents.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or management from time to time.
