Job summary

Biszon Flexipack Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Research and Development Executive to drive product ideas from concept through prototype. You will collaborate with management, marketing and R&D teams on feasibility, design specs and timelines for new packaging solutions.

The role requires strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience in the packaging industry and a background in polymer science being an asset.

• Strong technical report background and polymer science background preferred.

• Overseeing engineering of product prototypes and testing their functionality, usability and longevity.
• Overseeing the production process and enhancing process efficiency via automation and data analytics.
• Follow up on R&D project timelines to ensure on-schedule completion.

Follow up on the timeline of R&D projects to ensure completion within stipulated timeline.

Qualification & Experience

Must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Professional Degree in Mechanical, Applied Science, Chemical& Polymer Engineering or equivalent

Good analytical and statistical analysis skills

Excellent problem solving skills

Preferably 3-4 years related working experience in packaging industry.

Strong technical report background
