Tuah Bersatu Jaya Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Sabah-based team in a full-time capacity. The role involves overseeing financial and contractual aspects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and mentoring junior surveyors.

You will prepare cost estimates, manage contracts, monitor cash flow, and collaborate with project teams to mitigate risks and optimize costs. This is a senior, hands-on role with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and project planning.
• Experience with BIM and cost estimation software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
• Negotiate and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs and cash flow, and provide regular updates to management.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, proposing cost-saving measures.
• Provide expert guidance on contractual and commercial matters.
