Job summary

Ideal candidates will be proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office, and possess detail-oriented, responsible work habits to meet deadlines in a collaborative project environment in Sabah.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong understanding of Quantity Surveying procedures and full QS job scope.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or relevant design software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Good communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQ and quantity take-offs
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations and tender documents
• Conduct tender evaluation and comparison
• Prepare and evaluate Variation Orders (VO)
• Prepare and verify progress claims
• Manage final accounts
• Monitor and control project costs
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers on commercial and contractual matters
• Perform other QS duties related to the project
