Job summary

Infoline IT Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Contract Executive to drive pre-contract activities and contract administration for various projects in Malaysia.

The role involves developing quantities and tender documentation, managing tender processes, evaluating bids, and preparing reports for management approval. You will also administer contracts, review terms, and handle variations to safeguard commercial interests.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and contract administration.
• Good negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documentation.
• Coordinate and manage the tendering process, including calling, evaluating, and recommending tenders.
• Analyse tender submissions and conduct commercial evaluations.
• Prepare tender reports and recommendations for management approval.
• Assist in value engineering exercises to optimise project costs without compromising quality.
• Prepare Letter of Awards and contract documents for successful contractors and consultants.
• Administer construction contracts in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Review contract terms and conditions to minimise commercial risks.
• Ensure contractual compliance by contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Evaluate and process variations and contractual claims.
• Maintain proper contract documentation and records.
• Evaluate variation orders and ensure cost implications are properly assessed.
• Monitor project final accounts and negotiate settlements with contractors.
• Attend project meetings and provide commercial advice.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve contractual and cost-related issues
