Job summary

ALAM HEIGHTS SDN. BHD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare BQ and contract documents, visit sites, and evaluate progress.

You will provide cost estimates for tendering based on drawings and documents, assist in site delivery, and manage quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor/Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Prepare BQ and contract documents and pre-contract deliverables.
• Visit sites, evaluate progress, and prepare final accounts.
• Provide construction cost estimates for tendering based on drawings and documents.
• Assist in site coordination and overall project delivery.
• Request quotations from subcontractors and suppliers and assess tender responses.
• Check materials requisition and ensure budget adherence.

Preparation of BQ, contract document, etc

Visit site, make evaluation, submit progress claims, and preparation of final account

Able to provide the cost of construction for tendering project (BQ/pre-contract) based on technical drawing & documents

Assist in site coordination and site overall delivery

To request quotation from sub-contractors and suppliers, analyse and prepare tendered evaluation report

To check for materials requisition and ensure materials are accurate and within project budget

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English & Chinese to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

Computer literate and good communication skills
