Job summary
Kitron Electronics Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Quality Engineer/Senior Quality Engineer to drive NPI quality assurance and mass production quality improvements for EMS/PCBA. You will analyze customer requirements during NPI, establish QC points, manage supplier quality, handle RMAs, and lead ISO quality system implementation and audits.
Candidates should have a bachelor's in engineering and deep knowledge of SPC, FMEA, RCA, Six Sigma, Lean, IPC-A-610, and QMS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of SPC, FMEA, RCA.
- Experience with ISO9001 and IPC-A-610 standards.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, and TQM.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead NPI QA to analyze customer quality requirements.
- Establish QC points to meet specs and standards.
- Lead mass production quality yield improvement projects.
- Manage customer feedback, RMAs, and resolutions.
- Investigate product non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Manage supplier quality through audits, assessments, and CAPAs.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics and reports.
- Collect and report quality data to stakeholders.
- Lead ISO system implementation, documentation and audits.
- Monitor processes to prevent defects and improve efficiency.
