Job summary

V.s.-Industry-Berhad in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia seeks a seasoned Quality Manager to lead QC activities, oversee inspection plans, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The candidate will liaise with internal teams and customers on quality issues, mentor and motivate the quality team, and support new product introduction, process validation, and CAPA programs.

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is required, with at least 5 years of EMS or manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within EMS or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of management systems and code of conduct (e.g., ISO 9001; ISO 14001; ISO 27001 and RBA code of conduct).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QC activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and standards.
• Oversee execution of inspection plans and ensure compliance with checklists and specifications.
• Monitor quality performance, analyze trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with internal teams and customers on quality issues, including corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead, train, and motivate the quality team to achieve quality objectives.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and improvement of high defect/failure rates.
• Drive structured problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D, RCA, CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with management systems and code of conduct.
