Job summary

ResMed Inc. in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking an Engineer in Supplier Engineering (Electronics, Quality and NPI) to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure high-quality PCBAs and power supplies for manufacturing.

You will drive NPI, CAPA, supplier audits and continuous improvement in a regulated medical devices environment, with travel as needed and mentorship of junior engineers. Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering and 2+ years in manufacturing/quality engineering are

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or closely related field.
2+ years of functional engineering experience within a manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing, Process, Quality or Industrial Engineer.
Experience with PCB Assembly (PCBA) and power supply manufacturing processes is preferred.
Knowledge of GD&T and geometrical drawing conventions.
Experience in regulated industries (medical devices) and ISO/IEC/FDA requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Supply Chain Engineering, Product Development, Planning and GSA to ensure reliable, high-quality components supply for manufacturing.
Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to meet quality, availability and value requirements.
Act as the technical link between ResMed and electronics suppliers, communicating product specifications and assessing supplier capabilities.
Lead or contribute to CAPA, root cause analysis and continuous improvement across supplier quality processes.
