Job summary

K.E Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer cum QA to oversee engineering activities while ensuring products, processes, and manufacturing operations meet quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements.

The role combines engineering, quality assurance, production support, process improvement, troubleshooting, and quality management, with close collaboration across Production, QA/QC, R&D, Purchasing, and other departments to drive

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, QA/QC or related field.
• Strong knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
• Proactive and willing to take ownership of problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering activities related to manufacturing processes, equipment, products, and production operations.
• Analyse production and technical problems and provide effective troubleshooting and corrective solutions.
• Review and improve production processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Develop, review and maintain engineering documents, drawings, specifications, work instructions and process parameters.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), product development, product modification and process validation.
• Conduct technical investigations for product and process issues.
• Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and quality control systems.
• Ensure products and manufacturing processes comply with customer specs and internal standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects, customer complaints and process non-conformities.
• Lead and follow up on CAPA actions.
