Job summary

Kitron in Malaysia seeks a Quality Engineer to drive NPI QA, mass production yield improvements, and supplier quality management. You will handle customer feedback, investigate non-conformances, and implement CAPA across cross-functional teams in a challenging EMS setting.

Responsibilities include data reporting, ISO system implementation, and process control to prevent defects and raise overall quality across the value chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical engineering.
• Experience in a quality engineering role within the EMS industry.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, FMEA, RCA, and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze customer quality requirements during NPI phase.
• Lead projects to improve mass production quality yield.
• Handle customer complaints and RMAs; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Investigate and resolve product non-conformances; implement CAPA.
• Manage supplier quality via audits and corrective actions; supplier selection and metrics.
• Gather and report quality data; prepare quality reports.
• Lead ISO standards applications; prepare documentation; audit QMS.
• Monitor and control manufacturing processes; prevent defects.
