Job summary

Aihire 微旺爱海 in Banting, Selangor is seeking a quality assurance professional to lead supplier quality improvements and manage manufacturing process quality control. Responsibilities

• Drive supplier quality improvement and change management for approved suppliers.
• Handle abnormal materials during IQC and on the shop floor, track root-cause and corrective actions.
• Coordinate quality team processes, inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Interface with customer service to clarify standards, handle complaints, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Support internal and external audits; coordinate corrective actions and certification readiness.
• Lead daily scheduling, training, and performance evaluation for the quality team; improve inspection standards.

Job description

[Job Responsibilities]

① Supplier Quality Assurance: Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality through change management for approved suppliers, in-process quality control, product conformity requirements, and closed-loop analysis of quality issues.

② Abnormal Material Handling: Make judgments on abnormal materials during IQC inspection and on the production floor, formulate temporary emergency measures and subsequent preventive actions. Track suppliers' root cause analysis, improvement actions, and closure, and pursue accountability for losses caused by supplier issues.

• Process Management (Coordinating the Quality Team):

① Responsible for manufacturing process quality control:

a. Confirm the planning and effective control of key quality control points in on-site production processes;

b. Build quality supervision plans for product inspection/testing/patrol inspection processes;

② Analyze and compile statistics on manufacturing process quality data and information, and manage abnormal issues;

③ Handle product quality issues in the manufacturing process, and control, dispose of, and improve nonconforming products;

④ Optimize and improve business processes and system documentation for the manufacturing process.

• Customer Quality: Interface with customer service, clarify customer standards, handle quality complaints, lead root cause investigation and corrective actions, track and verify effectiveness, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Customer Audits: Support internal audits, external audits, and system certifications; coordinate customer audits and track corrective actions.
• Team Management: Responsible for daily scheduling, work allocation, and performance evaluation of the quality team; improve inspection standards, organize and conduct quality-related specialized training, and enhance overall quality awareness and the team's overall business capabilities.

[Job Requirements]

• Possess basic team management capabilities;
• College diploma or above, majoring in quality engineering, materials, mechanical engineering, or other science/engineering-related fields;
• 3+years of quality experience in the precision manufacturing industry, with 1+ year of quality management experience; familiar with precision manufacturing processes, proficient in the ISO9001 system, and able to independently handle audit coordination, customer complaint resolution, quality project improvement, and related work;
• Holders of quality-related certificates such as Internal Auditor or Six Sigma are preferred;
• Strong cross-departmental collaboration skills; detail-oriented, rigorous, and able to work under pressure; candidates with fluent Chinese communication are preferred.
