Job summary

Hirehub Group in Senai, Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a QA Engineer to lead quality issues across in-process, outgoing and customer complaints while driving corrective actions. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 2 years in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will coordinate MRB meetings, develop inspection plans, perform risk analysis, and collaborate with process and equipment teams on quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Quality Control Tools, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, 6 Sigma and ISO 9001.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferably with management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate MRB meetings and disposition follow-up actions.
• Manage in-process and finished product inspections and qualification; develop inspection plans.
• Lead risk analysis and mitigation for design and process to ensure risk is addressed.
• Develop effective measurement metrology for in-process inspection.
• Plan internal process audits to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Chart, monitor and report monthly performance (in-process, outgoing, customer complaints).

Job description

Company Background:

The company is a prominent provider of sensory experience solutions with expertise in various core technologies including semiconductor. The company is located in Senai, Johor. Notably, they are the sole micro-component manufacturing company from China ranked in the top 10 company in China.

Responsibilities:

• Lead quality issue of in-process, out-going and customer complaint to identify root cause and establish effective corrective and preventive action plan.
• Coordinate the MRB meeting when there is quality failure, timely disposition and closed loop follow up actions.
• Manage in-process and finished product inspection and qualification, develop quality inspection plan and work with process and equipment team on quality improvement activities.
• Lead product and process risk analysis and mitigation development efforts to confirm the design and process team has accurately identified product & process risk, assessed the level of risk and analyze with team to ensure the risks are assessed.
• To develop an effective measurement metrology improve in process inspection and measurement.
• Plan and perform process audits internally to ensure compliance per process and system requirements.
• To chart, monitor and report monthly performance (In-process, Out-going and Customer Complaint).

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related technical field, semiconductor manufacturing is desirable.
• Preferably trained and have good knowledge in Quality Control 7 Tools, Risk Assessment, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, 8D methodologies, Failure Analysis Reports, 6 Sigma and ISO 9001 standard.
• Ability to work well independently and work as a part of a team.
• Verbal and written communication and personal interface skills required.
• Preferably with management experience.

Report to Quality Manager (based in China)
Business Unit: SSE

Working hours: 8.30am-5.30pm (5 days works)

Salary Range: RM5k -RM8k
