Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in property development or construction.
• Familiar with tendering, cost estimation, variation claims, progress claims and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Handle quantity surveying and contract administrative activities from pre-contract to post-contract stage.
• Review consultants' cost estimates and recommendations.
• Prepare tender documents, cost estimates, bill of quantities, budgets and cost breakdowns.
• Manage tender evaluation, contractor quotations and negotiations.
• Prepare and monitor progress claims, variation orders, extension of time and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors on contractual and commercial matters.
• Monitor project costs, work progress and contractual obligations to ensure effective cost control.
• Attend site valuations, tender interviews, project meetings, and negotiations when required.
• Review payment applications, interim valuations and certificates.
• Maintain proper records and documentations for contracts, claims, variations and payments.
