Job summary

Team Keris Berhad in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to oversee contractual and cost-control activities for diverse development projects. You will manage progress claims, variations, final accounts, tender processes, and cost reporting on site.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying with 5+ years of experience, strong negotiation, Excel proficiency, and the ability to liaise with contractors and clients in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in property development or construction.
• Strong knowledge in contract administration, cost control, variation orders and tender management.
• Experience handling mixed development or commercial projects will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently, analytical and detail-oriented.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to travel to project sites when required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS software.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and contractors).

Responsibilities

• Support management in cost planning and financial reporting
