Job summary

Dynivest Progress Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a full-time role in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The position focuses on managing the contracts lifecycle from negotiation to execution and compliance, with oversight of performance and change orders.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in contract administration, with strong negotiation and drafting skills and a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying. The role supports project teams and adheres to industry regulations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in construction contract administration.
• Experience in managing construction projects is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of payments, contractual claims, and quotations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in contract drafting, analysis and interpretation.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

As a Senior QS at Dynivest Progress Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's construction contracts. This full-time position is based in Klang Valley and involves overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation to execution and compliance.

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts with clients and sub-contractors
• Ensuring all contractual obligations are met by all parties involved
• Monitoring contract performance and identifying risks or issues
• Resolving contract-related disputes and managing change orders
• Maintaining a centralised repository of all contract-related documentation
• Providing guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in contracts management

What we're looking for

• 3 - 5 years of experience in construction contract administration works
• Experience in managing construction project will be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of taking off payment, contractual claims, quotation in contract administration or tendering
• Excellent negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in contract drafting, analysis and interpretation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
