Job summary

TikTok is seeking a QA professional for its AI Data Service and Operations team in Malaysia. You will own quality across internal and external projects, monitor performance, and provide reports to stakeholders, driving excellence and process improvements.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, ability to set SMART goals, handle ambiguous situations, and backfill gaps in market support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 1-year QA or related experience in trust/safety or content quality.
• Familiar with US news, culture, and current events.
• Broad understanding of business needs and strategic thinking.
• Familiar with labeling workflows and ML concepts.
• Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high performance standards across projects with stakeholders.
• Calibrate meetings to maintain knowledge and quality standards.
• Disseminate policy updates and ensure timely communication.
• Perform daily audits and provide error analyses.
• Deliver regular performance data reports to management.
• Escalate RCAs through the proper processes.
• Identify performance improvements across markets and implement solutions.
• Participate in policy briefings to reflect local conditions.
• Support queue delivery via platforms like TCS or Rock Appeal.
• Backfill gaps in market support and assist onboarding training.
• Maintain policy implementation skills through regular quizzing.
• Design and implement a training plan within timelines.
• Note: exposure to sensitive content including vulgar material, violence, pornography, and fake news.
