Job summary

A leading management services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in quality control within the railway industry and a degree or diploma in engineering. Responsibilities include maintaining quality programs, liaising with stakeholders, and conducting audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance in the railway industry.
  • Experience in handling Railways Electromechanical system Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and implement quality program for the activities to meet quality objectives.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Plan & implement quality control inspections.
  • Schedule and perform quality audits.
  • Identify and record problems relating to product and process.

  • Maintain and implement quality program for the activities in the Division/Department/Project to meet the Division/Department/Project quality objectives and goals.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory bodies on standards and requirements.
  • Plan & Implement the Quality control inspections in Division/Department/Project and if applicable, lead a team of QC personnel for this function.
  • Schedule and perform quality audit on Division/Department/Project quality program for QMS as well as Project level.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to the product, process and quality system.
  • Identify and record any problem relating to the product, process and quality system.
  • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to product and process quality issues through designated channels.
  • Verify the implementation of solutions to any problem relating to the product, process and quality system.
  • Control further processing, delivery or installation

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in Quality
  • Control/Quality Assurance in railway industry.
  • Experience: Experience in handling Railways Electromechanical system Quality Assurance.
