Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Materials Planner to oversee material planning and ensure production runs smoothly. You will forecast demand, plan delivery, and expedite materials to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities include inventory control, procurement coordination, and managing ECN changes. The ideal candidate has a diploma in purchasing or material planning, 3+ years in manufacturing purchasing, SAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and good communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in purchasing or material planning.
• At least 3 years experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of SAP systems is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Honest, collaborative, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan material and production according to forecast and capacity.
• Expedite incoming materials to support demand.
• Inventory control and purchase activities per lead time to meet KPIs and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with procurement on vendor performance and other related matters.
• Manage ECN on material changes.

Responsible for material planning and plan delivery according to forecast & production capacity

Responsible for production planning & expediting incoming materials to support demand

Inventory control and execute purchase activities as per order lead time to meet department KPI and achieve customer satisfaction

Work closely with procurement on vendor performance & other related matters

Manage ECN on material related changes

Your Qualification:

Minimum a recognized diploma or certificate in purchasing or material planning,

Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment,

Knowledge of SAP system is an added advantage

Good analytical skill and Microsoft excel functions literacy

Honest and good collaboration with other cross-functional team

Good communication skill set and team player

Our company are scheduled to relocate to Senai Airport City in July 2026.
