Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead strategy development and execution. You will align purchasing plans with organizational goals, manage supplier relationships, and oversee daily purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

The role requires extensive procurement experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and a solid understanding of contract law and market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5–7+ years in procurement or purchasing, in a senior/leadership role.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, contracts, and market trends.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Engineering background is a plus.

Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with other departments to ensure adequate supply.

To get tax exemption on all taxable materials from local or overseas via documentation which compliance with customs acts regulation

Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and savings achievements.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience: Extensive experience in procurement or purchasing roles, with at least 5-7 years of experience in a senior or leadership position.

Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of supply chain management, contract law, procurement best practices, and market trends.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

An engineering background will be added advantage.
