Job summary

N.I. Interior Design & Furniture – Balakong, Selangor is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing interior design and renovation projects from start to finish.

You will liaise with clients, designers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and site teams to monitor progress, review drawings and ensure safety, cost and time targets are met while delivering quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Construction, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ID renovation or related construction field.
• Knowledge of renovation and construction processes; good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing interior design and renovation projects from commencement to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in managing and coordinating renovation projects.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to the agreed schedule.
• Coordinate daily site activities and ensure proper sequencing of works.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure work complies with project requirements.
• Review project drawings, specifications and scope of work.
• Coordinate material delivery and ensure materials are available according to project requirements.
• Assist in resolving site issues, technical problems and coordination matters.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure work is carried out according to drawings and specifications.
• Prepare project updates, progress reports, site reports and other relevant documentation.
• Assist in monitoring project costs and variation works.Attend site meetings and coordination meetings when required.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping and site requirements are properly maintained.
• Assist in ensuring projects are completed within the required time, cost and quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification in Construction, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 3 year of experience in ID renovation or related construction field.
• Good knowledge of renovation and construction processes.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
