Job summary

JRK GROUP is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to manage the progress of property development projects from planning through completion. You will liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and authorities to ensure smooth execution and on-time milestones.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of related experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead teams while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil & Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in a related field.
• Sound knowledge and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, with strong client-facing capabilities and the ability to motivate teams to meet tight deadlines.
• Team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and take on additional responsibilities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the overall progress of property development projects, including planning, design, construction, and completion.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, project schedule, and key milestones, and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Coordinate authority submissions, approvals, inspections, and statutory requirements.
• Review project drawings, specifications, variations, claims, and other project-related documents.
• Attend project meetings, track action items, and provide regular progress updates to management.
• Assist in monitoring project costs, contracts, and variations to ensure compliance with the approved budget.
• Coordinate project completion, defect rectification, documentation, and handover.
• Identify project risks and coordinate appropriate solutions to minimise delays and additional costs.
