Job summary

The Company, a manufacturer of wire and cable products in Malaysia, seeks a Senior Production Executive to join the Subang Airport facility. This full-time role oversees production schedules, coordinates with planning, and ensures processes meet quality, safety, and delivery targets.

You will monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvements, manage inventory, and supervise production staff. Minimum 5 years in production planning or similar, with knowledge of MRP and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling or a similar production management role.
• Proven knowledge of production planning systems, MRP and scheduling methodologies.
• Ability to analyze production data, identify trends and implement process improvements.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily production schedules to meet targets and timelines.
• Coordinate with planning and scheduling teams to optimize workflows and resource allocation.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, quality standards and safety protocols on the floor.
• Liaise with operations, QA and logistics to ensure smooth workflow and issue resolution.
• Track KPIs and bottlenecks, report to senior management.
• Identify areas for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inventory levels and material availability to support production.
• Supervise production staff and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Respond promptly to production issues and minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records for compliance and audits.
