Job summary

Teleflex, a global medical technology leader, is seeking a Senior Manager, Production Planning in Malaysia. You will lead demand, master production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory management to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resources across manufacturing sites.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering and Quality, drive S&OP, continuous improvement, and Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and develop the Planning team through coaching and performance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
Master's degree or APICS CPIM/CSCP, Lean Six Sigma credentials considered an advantage.
Minimum 10–15 years in production planning/supply chain/operations in manufacturing.
At least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing or medical devices preferred.
Strong ERP/MRP experience (SAP/Oracle) is required.

Responsibilities

Lead production planning, scheduling, and capacity planning to optimize resources.
Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to align demand and supply.
Manage inventory strategies and minimize excess, obsolete, and slow-moving stock.
Partner with Engineering and Quality on new product introductions and process changes.
Develop and monitor KPIs; drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
