Job summary

SIS Speedy Industrial Sdn Bhd, a Pontian, Johor-based manufacturer of wire harnesses, cable assemblies and PCBA, is seeking a Production Planner to develop and monitor production schedules and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely deliveries. Ideal candidate has 2–5 years in production planning, knowledge of SAP/ERP/MRP, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, or operations coordination.
• Willing to work in Pontian Area.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP/MRP is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Coordinate production activities to ensure timely customer delivery commitments.
• Liaise with procurement to ensure raw materials and components are available when needed.
• Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
• Communicate schedule changes and production updates to relevant departments.
• Track inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Prepare production reports, including output, downtime, and efficiency metrics.
• Coordinate with the quality team to ensure products meet required standards.
• Support warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment of finished goods.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and records.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams to maintain efficient operations, minimize delays and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production meetings and follow up on action items.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
