Job summary

Master Tec Wire & Cable Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a capable supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure production schedules are met, and optimize manpower allocation across shifts.

You will monitor machine performance and output quality, identify bottlenecks, reduce scrap, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with QA to ensure products meet standards, enforce SOPs and safety, and coordinate routine servicing with maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules, maximize machinery throughput, and ensure optimal manpower allocation across shifts.
• Monitor machine performance and output quality. Identify bottlenecks, minimize scrap/material wastage, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, train, and supervise technicians and general operators. Foster a culture of discipline, high productivity, and accountability on the shop floor.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance/Control team to ensure finished products adhere strictly to industry standards and company quality specifications.
• Enforce workplace safety regulations, HIRADC, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe, hazard-free plant environment.
• Work with the engineering and maintenance teams to schedule routine servicing and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Track daily production output, scrap rates, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE); prepare accurate operational reports for management review.
