Job summary

Carsem is seeking a Senior Product Test Engineer to join its Ipoh-based team. You will develop and optimize test programs for semiconductor products, collaborating with design and manufacturing to ensure reliable test coverage and yield improvement.

You will oversee test equipment setups and qualification, define testing strategies for new packages, and support customer qualifications and audits while mentoring junior engineers and driving capability enhancements across the test operations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Test Engineering and Testing with robust test methodologies.
• Experience in Product Testing for semiconductor devices focusing on yield analysis and test optimization.
• Proficiency with test equipment interfaces and instrumentation hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain test programs and methodologies for semiconductor products.
• Collaborate with design, process, and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot yield issues and improve test efficiency.
• Oversee test equipment setup, qualification, and testing strategies for new products and customer qualifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and document best practices across test operations.
