Job summary

Power Integrations in Malaysia seeks an experienced Product Engineer to drive Final Test yield improvement, reduce lot-on-hold events, and elevate quality across OSAT sites. You will apply strong analytics and semiconductor process knowledge to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You will lead data-driven root-cause investigations for Final Test excursions, optimize test limits to minimize false alarms, and work with Test Engineering, Operations, Quality, FAB, and assembly to sustain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics & Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields.
• At least 2 years in Product, Test, or Yield Engineering.
• Familiar with ATE systems (TMT, ETS, Teradyne).
• Advanced analytics using JMP or Minitab.
• Experience with DOE, FMEA, 8D, fishbone, and data correlation.
• Proven multi-site problem solving and structural improvements.
• Familiar with automotive quality requirements or power SiC or GaN.

Responsibilities

• Drive final test yield improvement and data-driven corrective actions.
• Lead root-cause analyses for final test excursions and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with FA, Quality, Operations, FAB, and Assembly to ensure stability.
• Monitor post-implementation results and sustain gains.
• Support customer audits and return investigations.
