Job summary

Carsem is a leading provider of turnkey packaging and test services for the semiconductor industry, with facilities in Ipoh. We invite an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead a multi-site team and drive quality, yield, and cost improvements.

Ideal candidate has 8–10 years in IC test engineering, proven leadership of 10+ engineers and 50+ technicians, and a degree in engineering. Join a growing company with extensive training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in test engineering IC environment.
• Solid leadership experience, handled >10 Engineers, >50 technicians

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct the department resources to achieve productivity, yield, quality, cost, cycle time and zero customer complaint.
• Ensure all product testing meets customer satisfaction and equipment is properly maintained.
• Liaise with customers on technical issues, improvement programs, new product testing and transfer opportunities.
• Conduct evaluation and recommend new test equipment.
• Accountable for the profit and loss performance of the product lines.
• Plan and identify training to upgrade subordinates' knowledge and skills.
• Plan, identify and execute cost-down projects to meet department goals.
• Coordinate to meet customer scorecard requirements by subordinates.
• Plan and coordinate new product qualification to release to production as scheduled.
• Quality Accountability: enforce SOPs, coordinate QA issues, monitor line quality, drive improvements, share best practices, review issues, communicate alerts.
