Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd is a leading semiconductor packaging and test services provider with facilities in Ipoh, Malaysia.

The role focuses on directing a test engineering department to achieve productivity, quality and cost targets while maintaining equipment and enabling smooth customer interactions. The incumbent will oversee training plans for subordinates,-drive cost-down projects and coordinate new product qualification releases to production as scheduled, ensuring compliance with SOPs and

Qualifications

• Must have engineering degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience in IC test engineering.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing large teams (>10 engineers, >50 technicians).
• Strong collaboration with QA, Engineering and Maintenance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct department resources to achieve productivity, yield, quality, cost and cycle-time goals.
• Ensure product testing meets customer satisfaction and equipment is properly maintained.
• Liaise with customers on technical issues, improvements, new testing and transfers.
• Evaluate and recommend new test equipment and processes.
• Coordinate and ensure subordinates meet customer score card requirements.
