Job summary

TTRacing Malaysia is seeking a Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Executive to own end-to-end procurement and logistics, ensuring timely, cost-efficient sourcing and compliance. You will manage supplier relations, negotiate contracts, and oversee documentation to support smooth product flow from suppliers to warehouses and customers.

• Bachelor or higher in SCM, logistics, or related field; certifications are a plus.
• 4–6 years in procurement and supply chain management with relevant industry exposure.

• Experience with Incoterms, import/export compliance, and customs clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation and selection for cost, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with suppliers and logistics providers.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee purchase orders for accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure proper handling of trade documents (PL, CIPL, PI, COO, BL, HS codes).
• Coordinate shipment schedules and resolve delays with suppliers and forwarders.
• Monitor inventory, safety stock, and lead times to avoid shortages.
• Manage replacement parts inventory to support after-sales service.
• Drive supply chain optimization for cost savings and efficiency.
• Compile and present sales, inventory, and defect rate data for decisions.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement improvements.
• Forecast demand in coordination with sales/marketing.
• Collaborate with finance, engineering, marketing and logistics teams.
• Support new product launches with procurement and planning.

As a Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Executive, you will take ownership of the procurement process and supply chain operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality sourcing of products and materials. You will manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, oversee logistics coordination, and ensure compliance with company standards and international trade requirements. The role requires balancing operational efficiency with strategic procurement planning, including cost reduction initiatives, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation. You will also mentor junior team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and play a critical role in ensuring smooth product flow from suppliers to warehouses and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supplier Sourcing & Selection - Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, and selection for cost, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiation & Contracts - Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with suppliers and logistics providers.
• Supplier Relationship Management - Maintain and strengthen long‑term relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Purchase Order Management - Oversee purchase order creation, verification, and processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Trade Documentation & Compliance - Ensure proper handling of trade documents (e.g., PL, CIPL, PI, COO, BL, HS codes) in compliance with regulations.
• Shipment & Logistics Coordination - Monitor shipment schedules and resolve delays proactively with suppliers and forwarders.
• Inventory & Lead Time Management - Monitor stock levels, safety stock, and lead times to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Replacement Parts Inventory - Manage replacement parts inventory, ensuring availability to support after‑sales service.
• Supply Chain Optimisation - Implement supply chain optimization initiatives for cost savings and efficiency.
• Data Analysis & Reporting - Compile, analyze, and present sales, inventory, and defect rate data to support business decisions.
• Supplier Performance Reviews - Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Demand Forecasting - Forecast demand in coordination with sales and marketing teams.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration - Work closely with finance, engineering, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on procurement and supply chain requirements.
• New Product Launch Support - Support new product launches with procurement and supply chain planning.
• Mentorship - Mentor and provide guidance to junior procurement/supply chain executives.
• Policy & Regulatory Compliance - Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical sourcing practices, and international trade regulations.
• Process Improvement - Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost‑effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or certifications (CPSM, CSCP, CIPS) is a plus.
• 4-6 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in consumer goods, furniture, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms), import/export compliance, and customs clearance.
• Ability to forecast demand, analyze cost structures, and interpret sales/inventory data for decision‑making.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide junior staff and drive team performance.
• Problem‑solving mindset with ability to resolve supply disruptions quickly.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) required; Malay or other regional languages is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, and travel for supplier visits when needed.
