We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end sourcing and purchasing activities for our M&E and ELV projects.
The successful candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of ELV systems and software solutions, excellent supplier and subcontractor negotiation skills, and the commercial acumen to secure the best overall value for project-based procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, Building Management Systems, public address systems, structured cabling, and related software licences.
- Prepare purchase requisition forms and manage the procurement process from sourcing through purchase order issuance.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, warranties, service-level agreements, and commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Work with the engineering team to evaluate technical submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage ELV and software vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
- Monitor delivery schedules to ensure materials, systems, and services are delivered according to project timelines.
- Track market pricing and supply risks while maintaining complete and accurate procurement and contract records.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, IT teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to align procurement activities with project requirements.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and support cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience in the M&E, ELV, construction, building systems, or related industry.
- Previous experience working with a contractor in the construction industry is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in supplier and subcontractor sourcing, evaluation, and commercial negotiation.
- Familiarity with M&E or ELV drawings, project specifications, and Bills of Quantities will be an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage changing project requirements and urgent supplier or delivery issues.Can speak fluent BM, English and mandarin (required to communicate with Chinese suppliers)
