Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a leader for the Process Engineering department to drive efficiency and continuous improvement across manufacturing lines. You will guide technicians, coordinate with supervisors and engineers, and ensure optimal machine performance and data integrity.

The role requires a strong technical background, 5+ years of related experience, and the ability to train staff in equipment maintenance, programming and PD data handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with strong technical foundation.
• Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Experience leading technical teams and cross-functional work.
• Experience in contract manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Process Engineering department with focus on efficiency, integrity and enthusiasm.
• Direct Manufacturing Engineering Technicians on assigned lines for optimal machine and process performance.
• Provide training on equipment maintenance, machine programming and PD data handling.
• Interface with Line Supervisors, Machine Support Manager and Manufacturing Engineers to determine corrective actions for yields.
• Ensure data back-ups and data integrity across lines; implement continuous improvement procedures.
• May cover MET duties when absent or in high-need situations.
• Assist in DFx, tooling design and process optimization efforts.
