Job summary

Jabil Malaysia in Kulim is seeking a Production/Process Engineer to develop and implement production methods and controls that meet quality standards efficiently for assembly and molding processes. You will monitor the process, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical expertise on projects as required.

Responsibilities include startup of new and existing projects, establishing process controls, documenting changes, improving yields and cycle times, and supporting safety and quality programs

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PC use and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email.

Responsibilities

• Implement the startup of new/existing projects, optimizing cost, efficiency and quality.
• Establish and ensure process control and maintain documentation.
• Monitor the assembly/molding process; troubleshoot problems and resolve quality issues.
• Establish processes for new product lines; document product development and changes; monitor tool design.
• Debug moderately complex problems within portions of new systems, tooling and automation.
• Implement experiments to improve processes, yields and utilization; reduce cycle times.
• Maintain maintenance changes in process improvements and document repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and support safety programs.
• May provide direction to assembly and material handling staff as necessary.
• Support safety and quality programs and initiatives.
