The role requires directing technicians, providing training, and collaborating with line supervisors and engineers to optimize machine performance, yields, and process capability, ensuring operational excellence in all plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 5 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs Manufacturing Engineering Technicians on lines observing machine performance and provide guidance for optimum efficiency.
• Provides training to Manufacturing Engineers and Assistants in maintenance, programming, PD file creation.
• Interfaces with Line Supervisors, Machine Support Manager and Engineers to determine corrective actions for efficiency and yields.
• Creates, documents and implements procedures to ensure continued operational excellence across plants.
• May supervise MET duties when required and cover critical needs.
• Assists in process optimization (IR reflow, wave solder profiles, screen printing of solder paste) and tooling design for DFM.
• Ensures data integrity with regular program and PD backups on all lines.
