Job summary

Greatech in Penang is seeking a Security Engineer to establish production workflow, oversee security systems, and lead improvements on the factory floor. You will coordinate with IE, engineering and PM to maintain secure operations and support safety compliance.

The role requires a degree in an engineering field and at least five years in a semiconductor clean room, with strong leadership and incident-reporting skills. On-site position with opportunities to influence security and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering field required.
• Minimum 5 years in a clean room environment within semiconductor production.
• Experience managing security personnel, vendors and contractors.
• Familiar with manufacturing facility security and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and team management skills demonstrated.
• Good knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm systems and security tech.
• Excellent incident investigation and reporting abilities.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to respond to emergencies calmly and decisively.
• Proficient with MS Office for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements to reduce cost and raise productivity.

• 1. To establish build sequence and production workflow.
• 2. To create Work Instruction of the required process in the production floor.
• 3. To assess the required jig, fixture and tools.
• 4. To create PFMEA, control plan and risk assesment.
• 5. Provide inputs and support IE to optimize production layout.
• 6. To provide solutions and support for quality issue affecting production deliveries.
• 7. To liaise with engineering, material, PM and MIS on BOM/ drawing/design changes/issues.
• 8. To enchance processing techniques and methods applied in production floor.
• 9. Drive and develop new process improvements to reduce cost and increase productivity.
• 10. To provide training to production staff on the process, work instruction and improvement implementation to theproduction floor.
• 11. Analysis of production data for productivity improvement.
• 12. To lead/guide/train Process Engineer level 1,2, 3 on process engineering and line improvement.
• 13. To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere togeneral safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
• 14. Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• 1.Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering field or equivalent years torelated experience.
