Job summary

Jabil is seeking a seasoned Master Planner to manage planning activities for a dedicated workcell. The role involves mentoring Production Planners and Document Coordinators, ensuring 100% on-time delivery, build readiness, and accurate revenue forecasting.

You will develop MPS, manage BOMs and routings, and drive capacity planning improvements to optimize utilization while maintaining strict adherence to customer demand and contract terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, or Master’s +3 years, or PhD without experience.
• APICS certification and supervisor experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of MRP, lead times for components, internal run rates, test development, and manufacturing sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Manage all planning activities for the assigned workcell.
• Mentor Production Planners and Document Coordinators.
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery and build readiness.
• Maintain revenue forecasting and material control.
• Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into ERP.
• Reconcile MPS to customer PO coverage weekly.
• Maintain 100% accuracy of MPS and 95% target achievement.
• Own BOMs, routings, and document control for the workcell.
• Lead EOL planning, purge processes, and risk mitigation.
