Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payrolls. You will verify basic salaries, overtime and allowances, in compliance with statutory requirements, and prepare monthly payroll reports for Finance.

You will support HR Payroll System changes with the vendor, assist in payroll audits, respond to inquiries, and coordinate yearly reports to Labour Dept., MIDA, etc., while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline.
• At least 5 years’ payroll processing experience in manufacturing environment.
• Maintains confidentiality and accountability.
• Eye for details and accuracy in deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Process employee payrolls accurately and timely.
• Ensure correct calculation of basic salaries, overtime and allowances in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports for Finance.
• File annual tax reports to IRD on time.
• Support HR Payroll System changes with vendor for timely updates.
• Assist payroll audits and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate yearly reports to Labour Dept., MIDA, etc.
• Handle ad hoc payroll data requests.
