Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an HR & Payroll Executive to manage payroll operations and support daily HR administration. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, maintain records and handle statutory requirements.

You will also monitor attendance, process leaves, administer benefits, and support general HR activities, with fluency in Chinese/Mandarin preferred. Diploma or degree required and 2–3 years’ experience in HR/payroll.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HR, accounting, finance, business or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant HR and payroll experience.
• Fluent in Chinese/Mandarin or strong communication in Mandarin.
• Experience with Info-Tech Payroll is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Malaysian payroll statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, HRD Corp).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll using Info-Tech Payroll System with accurate salary payments.
• Verify payroll calculations, attendance, overtime, leave, deductions and staff movements.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EIS, HRD Corp).
• Perform payroll reconciliation and resolve discrepancies before submission.
• Maintain up-to-date employee records (personal, payroll, statutory).
• Process employee movements (new joiners, resignations, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments).
• Monitor attendance, absenteeism, overtime and leave records.
• Ensure HR/payroll processes comply with employment laws and company policies.
• Handle payroll, attendance, leave, benefits inquiries; administer benefits including medical insurance.
