Pasona HR Malaysia Sdn Bhd is partnering with a renowned global apparel retailer to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager in Malaysia. You will oversee payroll processing, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead HRIS and vendor-related projects across multi-site operations.

The role emphasizes accurate payroll reconciliation, cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, IT, and regional teams, and driving continuous improvement in payroll controls.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of payroll experience.
• Strong payroll processing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with payroll migration and HRIS implementation.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, or multi-site operations advantageous.
• Knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate monthly payroll calculations.
• Conduct payroll reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Verify payroll inputs including new joiners, resignations, salary revisions, bonuses and allowances.
• Lead payroll projects such as vendor transitions and HRIS improvements.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, IT and stores on payroll initiatives.
• Ensure statutory submissions and audits are performed.
