Job summary

Quintus Search in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for about 100 employees across retail outlets. The role demands accuracy, confidentiality and strong knowledge of local payroll legislation.

You will handle payslips, deductions, liaise with HR, and ensure timely payments, with experience in QuickPay or similar systems preferred. Five years of payroll experience in retail multi-location is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Human Resources or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a multi-location/retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia statutory payroll requirements (EPF, Socso, EIS, PCB).
• Experience with payroll software such as QuickPay preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end payroll for ~100 employees across multiple outlets.
• Ensure statutory compliance and timely salary payments.
• Maintain payroll records and generate monthly reports for auditing.
• Address staff payslip inquiries and salary adjustments promptly.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end to end payroll processing for approximately 100 employees across their beauty retail operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in payroll within a retail or multi-outlet environment, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, statutory compliance and reporting. This role requires high level accuracy, discretion and understanding of payroll legislation and retail workforce dynamics.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end payroll processing for all retail staff including permanent, part-time an casual workers.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including EPF, Socso, EIS, income tax and other deductions.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports and maintain accurate payroll records for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Handle staff enquiries related to payslips, deductions, salary adjustments in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage payroll changes according to staff movements e.g. new hires, terminations, salary revisions unpaid leaves, bonuses etc.
• Liaise with HR and outlet supervisors to ensure accurate and up to date employee data in payroll system.
• Support annual processes such as EA form preparation, income tax filing and salary budget forecasting.
• Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of payroll data at all times.

Requirements:
