Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented HR Executive to manage end-to-end payroll across multiple entities in our retail group. You will ensure accurate salary disbursement, attendance verification, and statutory contributions with confidentiality and precision.

The role requires 3+ years payroll experience, knowledge of Malaysian payroll regulations, and proficiency in Excel and payroll software.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HR, accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a retail or multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian payroll regulations and statutory contributions.
• Proficient in payroll systems and MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
• High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of payroll processing for multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
• Verify attendance, overtime, incentives, allowances, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Prepare reports relating to staff cost.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Handle payroll-related queries from employees promptly.
• Prepare and submit monthly statutory reports and annual forms (EA, E/PCB, etc.).
• Liaise with Finance, HR, and external auditors as required.
• Continuously review payroll processes for improvement and efficiency.
