Senior Payroll & Human Resource Executive
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Payroll & HR Executive to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, supporting HR administration, ensuring statutory compliance, and contributing to employee engagement and HR initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong payroll knowledge, hands-on HR experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Manage and process monthly payroll accurately and on a timely basis.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRD Corp.
- Maintain payroll records and employee salary data.
- Reconcile payroll reports and address payroll discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll-related reports for management and audits.
Human Resources
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and offboarding.
- Administer employee benefits, leave records, and attendance management.
- Maintain employee personal files and HR documentation.
- Support recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Assist in performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company policies.
- Liaise with government authorities and external parties on HR-related matters.
- Handle employee disciplinary matters, including investigations, counseling, issuance of warning letters, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and periodically review the Employee Handbook to ensure alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and best HR practices.
HR Administration & Compliance
- Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and policies.
- Support internal and external audits related to HR and payroll.
- Maintain HRIS and employee databases.
- Generate HR metrics and management reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in payroll and human resources.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, payroll regulations, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRD Corp requirements.
- Experience with payroll and HRIS systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of confidentiality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or multinational company environment.
- Knowledge of employment pass and foreign worker administration will be an added advantage.
