Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Accountant – Outsourcing to join our team. The role will focus on accounting, financial reporting and compliance support for a portfolio of clients.

The successful candidate will work independently, own engagements and communicate effectively with clients and team members. The candidate will manage full sets of accounts, prepare management reports and financial statements, and support e-Invoice and SST compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/ Diploma in Accounting or Finance. ACCA/MIA or equivalent is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accounting records and prepare full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare management accounts and other financial reports for clients as required.
• Prepare financial statements and related reporting per applicable accounting standards.
• Provide e-Invoice implementation and ongoing accounting support, including reviews of processes.
• Provide SST compliance and accounting support, including preparation of schedules.
• Prepare and/or review schedules, reconciliations and supporting docs for client engagements.
• Assist with consolidation of financial statements and group reporting where applicable.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information, clarify matters and follow up on items.
• Identify issues and assist in resolving them promptly.
• Monitor multiple engagements to ensure deliverables are accurate and timely.
• Review work of junior staff and guide where needed.
• Assist in improving accounting processes and service delivery within outsourcing.
• Provide payroll-related outsourcing support when required.
• Perform other accounting, compliance and ad-hoc assignments as required.
