Job summary

CMA CGM Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive profitable growth of CMA CGM’s ocean freight and integrated logistics within an assigned territory. Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• 2–5 years of working experience in sales, preferably in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics.
• Persuasive, results-oriented, and highly motivated to achieve and exceed targets.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently while also being an effective team player.
• Willing to travel and must possess own transport and a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Promote the company’s products and services to achieve defined KPIs and sales targets.
• Visit new and existing customers regularly to develop and maintain strong, long-term business relationships; grow account and CMA CGM share of wallet.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new customers across key trade lanes and verticals (importers, exporters, NVOCCs, freight forwarders, BCOs).
• Implement, execute, and achieve the sales plan in line with the company’s commercial strategy and goals.
• Develop and manage assigned import accounts, securing NAC and FAK inbound shipments, as well as outbound shipments where applicable.
• Monitor debtor aging and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments with SSC Credit Controller team.
• Prepare and submit daily sales visit reports and maintain a weekly sales planner (Nova CRM or equivalent).
• Send sales leads to overseas agents following customer visits to support reverse canvassing on FOB business.
• Promote non-maritime value-added services (VAS) to existing and potential customers.
• Promote cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with CEVA Logistics for integrated solutions.
• Promote intermodal transport solutions as part of CMA CGM’s end-to-end service offering.
• Prepare reports, market studies, and analysis as required by Principal, Management, or Line Managers.
