Job summary

Vantris Energy Berhad in Malaysia seeks an experienced Technical Superintendent to support offshore vessels’ reliability, availability, and operation readiness. You will drive uptime through PMS, manage maintenance planning, and ensure asset integrity while supporting drydock, SPS, and major campaigns.

The role partners with Vessel Managers and on-board teams to balance technical excellence with cost efficiency, lead RCA investigations, and enforce class and statutory compliance across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• CoC Class I/II is an advantage.
• DP or automation certifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Asset Reliability & Maintenance: drive uptime via PMS and preventive maintenance.
• Technical Governance & Fleet Support: provide guidance to vessel teams and ensure documentation up to date.
• Drydock, SPS & Major Maintenance: lead SPS, drydock projects, budgets, and schedules.
• Cost & Performance Management: monitor spend and maintenance costs for optimal asset performance.
• HSE, Compliance & Continuous Improvement: promote safety and standardise practices across fleet.
