Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive vessel reliability and uptime through effective Planned Maintenance System (PMS) management and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Review technical performance data and identify trends, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with class, statutory, and company technical requirements.
Technical Governance & Fleet Support
  • Establish and maintain consistent maintenance and inspection practices across the fleet.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to vessel management teams and onboard personnel.
  • Ensure emergency‑critical systems, automation systems, and technical documentation are maintained and up to date.
  • Support technical audits, inspections, and vessel readiness reviews.
Drydock, SPS & Major Maintenance Execution
  • Lead and coordinate Special Periodical Surveys (SPS), drydock projects, port calls, and major maintenance campaigns.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, testing requirements, and certification activities.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders, OEMs, contractors, and service providers to ensure successful execution.

  • Support budgeting activities and provide recommendations on technical spending priorities.
  • Assess technical risks and evaluate maintenance strategies based on reliability and operational impact.
  • Drive cost efficiency through proactive maintenance and failure prevention initiatives.
