Job summary

Cyan Renewables Group, based in Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to manage offshore vessels, ensuring safe, compliant, reliable and cost-effective operations. Based in Malaysia and reporting to the General Manager Fleet Operations, you will maintain asset integrity and support Masters and Chief Engineers.

You will work with vessel operations teams, HSEQ, procurement, finance, and external partners, applying PMS governance, root-cause analysis and effective maintenance

Qualifications

• CoC as Marine Engineer Officer (STCW III/2) or engineering degree with vessel-management experience.
• Seagoing/offshore engineering experience and shore-based technical-management capability.
• Experience with PMS governance, defect management, class/statutory surveys and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to vessels and advise Masters/Chief Engineers on systems.
• Monitor vessel condition, defects, and reliability trends; drive permanent defect close-out.
• Oversee PMS execution, inspections and maintenance records per class and maker requirements.
• Coordinate with Class, Flag Administrations, shipyards, OEMs and contractors; lead reporting.
