Job summary

Bridgenet Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced network security professional to own technology domains, deploy and configure security solutions, and oversee regional operations. You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with project managers to meet timelines.

The role requires 3–5 years of deployment experience, strong Cisco-based expertise, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced MSP environment.

Job Description

Take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.

Responsible for the deployment, implementation, and configuration of network security solutions to safeguard client's organizational infrastructure.

Stay on Top of Technological Trends and Development.

Serve as the team’s technical subject matter expert and technical escalation resource.

Responsible for overseeing regional operations and managing day-to-day support activities.

Perform Software / Firmware Installation of Upgrades and Patches if situation demands.

Attends to high severity incidents on and off-site.

Provides scope of work and man-days to pre-sales & sales teams (if required)

Reviews and highlights project deployment risks.

Define and manage resource plan together with the Project Manager aligning to the project schedule.

Plan and drive the project’s technical execution to achieve the committed scope and timeline.

Write, compile, and maintain project documentations.

Cooperating and communicating with Project Manager & Solution Specialist.

Act as Project Lead, and ability and delegates lower complexity tasks to L2 engineers.

Train and mentor junior team members in serving customer across the region.

Follows documented processes, procedures, and policies.

Updates incident tickets in a timely manner in Service Desk MSP Ticketing System to meet contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Next day standby (onsite / remote) after implementation activity.

To provide knowledge transfer session / administrator training for projects.

Perform any other job-related duties incidental to the work.

Job Requirement

Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.

Preferably someone with atleast 3-5 years of operational & project deployment experience.

Proven project implementation experience and strong hands-on expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise network solutions.

Preferably someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, yet collaborate well with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work on complex issues in a fast and dynamic environment.

Proven experience and good understanding according to the domain or specialization.

Technologies (any of the following):

Excellent understanding of TCP/IP networking/ routing & switching/ VPN/ Load Balancing technologies.

Experienced with any networking devices or solutions from vendors such as Cisco/ Huawei/ F5/ Juniper/ Aruba etc.

Having certifications such as CCNP, HCIP, CCIE would be an advantage.
