Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead technical work on hardware upgrades for mission-critical Public Safety systems. You will design, implement, and validate network solutions, coordinate with project teams, and ensure smooth migrations with minimal disruption.

The role requires strong IP networking knowledge, customer-facing communication, and the ability to travel internationally up to 25% while maintaining detailed system documentation and design

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Information Technology/IT field
• Strong customer-facing experience required
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Knowledge of digital communications and mobile/cellular radio networks
• Experience with network routing, switching, NAT, IP tunneling, VPN, Frame Relay, E1 WAN

Responsibilities

• Lead technical aspects of hardware upgrade projects from kick-off to acceptance
• Design and implement replacement Public Safety radio communication systems
• Plan migration to minimize service disruption to mission-critical systems
• Serve as technical authority for system acceptance testing with customers
• Document network configurations and system diagrams
• Collaborate with global infrastructure teams across time zones
• Create high/low level design documentation and technical plans
• Communicate migration strategies and timelines to stakeholders
